CPR is the hardest part of the resuscitation process and well performed chest compressions can be crucial in preparing the heart tissue for successful defibrillation and maintaining an oxygen supply to the brain and other vital organs. Handling and operating a training AED gives rescuers the confidence to access the unit quickly and follow the simple voice and visual instructions effectively and efficiently.
The Defib Store offer 90 minute course our students will learn about: Heart Conditions leading to Cardiac Arrest Treatment of an unconscious casualty Basic Life Support & CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) Resuscitation Council Guidelines Safe use of an AED Plus plenty of practice time learning how to safely operate an AED
