We have selected specific Defibrillators for Schools that have adult/child function at the flick of a switch. Whilst cardiac arrest in children is rare we do still see cases of congenital heart defects which may lead to cardiac arrest.
The adult/child switch means that you do not need to purchase additional child pads with these Defibrillators. You can use the same pads, the switch will reduce the voltage of the shock given.
The child switch is only required for kids under 8 years old or less than 25kg.
